1. How it works

  1. Apply. Email us, or choose Apply to drive on the sign-in screen of the Ooba Driver app — tell us who you are, your city, and what vehicle you have.
  2. Get verified. We — or the water provider you will deliver for — check your identity and vehicle. This is a safety step every delivery platform has, and it is the only wait between you and your first delivery.
  3. Go online. Sign in to the Ooba Driver app and switch yourself on shift. Deliveries near you are assigned to you.
  4. Deliver and earn. Every completed delivery, tip and payout is recorded on the app's Earnings screen.

2. What you need

  • To be 18 or older.
  • A motorbike, car or van.
  • An Android phone or an iPhone.
  • Your national ID (tazkira) or passport.
  • A driving licence, where the law requires one for your vehicle.

You do not need to belong to any company. Independent drivers apply directly to Ooba. Drivers who already work for a water provider are registered by their provider.

3. Earnings

You are paid for every delivery you complete, and customers can tip you in the app. The Earnings screen shows each delivery, your tips, pending and paid totals, and past payout batches.

Joining is free and stays free: Ooba never charges drivers a fee, and there is nothing to buy in the app. You are paid — you never pay.

If you collect cash on delivery, the app records it and your provider or Ooba reconciles it with you. Details are in the driver section of our support page.

4. Apply now

Apply by email support@ooba.delivery Tell us your full name, phone number, city, and vehicle type. We will contact you about verification.
Apply in the app Download the Ooba Driver app and choose Apply to drive on the sign-in screen.
Already with a water provider? Providers on Ooba register and verify their own drivers. Ask your provider to add you, then simply sign in.

Applications are open to the general public in every city where Ooba operates — see where we deliver. No invitation, and no existing relationship with any company, is required.

5. Get the app

Android Download the Ooba Driver APK Installed directly from this site. Your phone may ask you to allow installation from your browser.
iPhone Ooba Driver for iPhone is coming to the App Store.

"App not installed" on Android? The most common cause is not enough free storage on the phone. Free up space and try again.

6. Common questions

Do I need to work for a company to apply?

No. Anyone can apply directly to Ooba. Some drivers are registered by the water provider they work for; independent applicants are matched with work through Ooba.

How long does verification take?

We check applications as quickly as we can and contact you by phone or email. You cannot take deliveries until your account is verified — the app shows a banner while you wait.

Does it cost anything?

No. Applying is free, the app is free, and Ooba never charges drivers. There are no fees and nothing to purchase.
